A singer/songwriter who has been playing professionally for over 45 years, Walter Planer is proud to have joined the Reberbnation family of artists. Growing up on the Jersey Shore about 4 miles south of Asbury Park, Walter grew up with and was shaped by all of the musical genres that created what became known as the Sound of Asbury Park. His music and songs contain hints of the British Invasion sound, along with a mixture of influences covering pop, rock, country, blues, folk and soul that coalesce into both a familiar sounding and at the same time a different style of writing. Having been a member of South Jersey legends The Cape May Diamonds for over forty years, Walter is for the first time releasing his original music to the general public for use by other artists and other media sources such as movies, TV. and various commercial uses. The recordings feature performances by members of the Cape May Diamonds, No Stranger and other musicians I've played with over the years.
