Since 1972, Icelandic composer Torfi Ólafsson has been extremely active in the music business. In 1976, Torfi was the first composer to write an original song for famed Icelandic singer Bjork. Torfi is a prolific songwriter with worldwide releases of over 700 cuts on more than 3500 albums. He composes in Blues, Instrumental, Gospel, Country, and many other genres. Torfi's music can currently be heard in the CBS series "Madam Secretary." His song "Cryin' At The Moon" is featured in the 2018 film "Galveston" co-written with Tim Earle.
