Hello, my name is Tom Lamm. I have had an appreciation for music since my earliest life's memories, and discovered that expressing my feelings through music was an outlet for my feelings throughout life. The range of emotions and topics covered through my songs are probably no different than what you have experienced in your life. There's probably a great chance that you will find a song you can relate too. Music that I was inspired by manifested into my unique sound as I copy nobody but am influenced by many. I call my genre MENTAL. Examples of the biggest players to shape my music are... The Beatles, Brian Eno, Moby, Yes, Peter Gabriel, The Who, Coldplay, David Bowie, Talking Heads, ELO, Enya, Led Zeppelin, The Moody Blues, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, R.E.M. OMD, Roxy Music, Sting, Bach, Matthew Dear, Steely Dan,and Massive Attack Try mixing these artists together and you get Tom Lamm. The four albums that are available here are my latest writings, but writing songs goes back to my teen years. Luckily I recorded anything that seemed worth recording and the result is a treasure trove of songs that have never been professionally recorded and are awaiting being released. There is currently one album of newest writings and one album from the past that are being developed now.
