Tal Ariel started his musical training at age 5, and shortly therafter was composing original music. He studied piano with the great Elena Wolkonsky of Juilliard, and attended the New School for Jazz & Contemporary Music, where he graduated with a degree in Music Composition & Performance. Tal has composed for film and musical theater, he has performed live around the world and on prime time television. He has shared the studio and stage with great artists such as Zigaboo Modeliste (The Meters), Polo Jones (Whitney Houston), Mingo Lewis (Santana), Andy Hess (Gov't Mule), Tony Mason (Charlie Hunter) and Reggie Workman (John Coltrane). In 2011, Tal won the San Francisco Bay Area's Best Music Director award for his direction of Seussical the Musical. In 2013, Tal was chosen by the executive team at Studio Trilogy, San Francisco's top recording studio, to be in-house composer for their new music licensing venture, Track Attic. Currently in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tal composes for clients of all stripes...from film and original artists to musical theater and commercials.
