Spencer Nicholson, now known by his stage and nickname spenny nichs., is a Canadian music artist that was born in 1996 in Burlington, Ontario. Raised from a young age in the small town of Bracebridge, Muskoka, he set his sites and music aspirations to the United States to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. After being accepted and attending Berklee for one year, Spencer launched his professional music career by releasing a series of singles and a self-titled album in 2017. During the next couple years he bounced back and forth between Canada and the United States, using this time to tour, write and develop his sound before rebranding himself to his current persona and project spenny nichs. Inspired by a wide variety artists including: Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Daniel Caesar and Anderson .Paak. – spenny continues to mix his love for pop, dance, soul and r&b to create a unique, authentic sound. Currently he is based out of Los Angeles, California, drawing inspiration from the west coast sound, creating sexy, dance induced, groovy music. With his rebranded debut single “don’t make me wait” , released in June of 2020, spenny nichs. is coasting with plans to have a series of singles and an EP album to be released this upcoming year. This is only the beginning for the Canadian artist, be ready for much more to come.
