Shawn Harris is the frontman of resurgent naughties alt-punk band The Matches, throwback garage band Fortress Social Club, half of the indie-pop duo Maniac, and records solo as St. Ranger. His most recent record (St. Ranger) was produced in a mobile '74 Airstream trailer, entitled "Leaves L.A." (Feb. 8, 2016), and is a narrative pastiche that began as a live-tracked studio album in Los Angeles, before being uprooted and reconstructed with audio recorded in remote caves and canyons across America.
