I love music! It is my passion. I took my first guitar lesson when I was nine years old, and I was hooked. I have played in bands for most of my life, including while I was in high school and college. I play lead and rhythm guitars, both electric and acoustic, and I sing. I enjoy teaching guitar to my enthusiastic students. My influences come from blues, rock, and classical guitar: Joe Satriani, Led Zeppelin, Heart, Evanescence, Concrete Blonde, Robert Johnson, Andres Segovia, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Carlos Santana, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Lita Ford, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, The Pretenders, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless. I write songs from my heart. I hope you find something in my songs that touches you.
