Rokeaux, singer/rapper/songwriter, was born and raised in St.Thomas of the US Virgin Islands. Now, based out of Orlando, FL, Roko has been fairly quiet as he fine-tuned his distinct sound, fusion his "island boy" influence to the more top40s commercial genres. His vocal tone can be considered as raspy and his melodies are the perfect balance of original and infectious. Growing organically, working closely with producers/artists under his collective Psych Klan, His sound can now be defined as Caribbean Hip-Pop. He moved to Orlando, FL at 19 years old to pursue his career aiming at the more popular genres of Pop/HipHop/RnB, being heavily influenced by Usher, LilWayne, and Missy Elliott, just to name a few. After constant networking and developing, his songwriting skills has been recognized and applauded by local and mainstream artists, executives, and producers such as Black Metaphor(The Game), and even Pop & Oak(K.Michelle, Alessia Cara, Kanye West), who he has had a pleasure to work with on a few demos for a RocNation artist. Now, one of the frontmen, representing a crew of extraordinary creatives, called "Psych Klan", Roko's raspy and melodically infectious sound is polished and his already mind-bending lyricism is better than ever and ready to be displayed to listeners worldwide.
