I write songs, I also play double Bass and Lead or Rhythm guitar. I started out in my teens writing poems, later turning them into songs. I love word play. To me the most important part of a song is the lyric. I am a registered Performing Rights Society member. I have seen a few of my songs released on independent record labels ( Western Star , ABC , Diablo, Halb7 ) and also on iTunes/amazon etc. I have had around 20 songs played on BBC radio. Also plenty of commercial radio plays. I release physical copies on CD and vinyl, through my own record label " Roobarb Records " ( this is run on a shoestring! )
