I started DJing in Lisbon, Portugal in the basement of my house, at the same time I bought my first drum machine and started making beats. I would sometimes DJ at parties when I was going to visit my father in Paris, France. I moved to Maryland, U.S.A., and kept making beats in the basement. Then I moved to Thunder Bay, ON, Canada where I was known as Joe, starting DJing in a club with some friends and making beats (hip hop beats and dance music) for MCs. In 2000 I moved to Port Elizabeth, Republic of South Africa, where I was known as Dj Santo, I got involved in the Hip Hop society, had a radio show on CBFM, created the music project Urban Africa, made beats for MCs and worked with a Hip Hop group named the Nexus. Now I live in Maputo, Mozambique and I make music (R&B, Hip Hop beats, Amapiano, House and Dance Music) on weekends.
