Born and raised in Perth Western Australia. Jason Lunar (real name Jason Mudge) picked up a guitar in the early 2000’s and began his path to learning a wide range of musical directions. Jason quickly decided it was time to learn about music production and sound engineering so he could harbour his sounds as a solo music artist. After various successes in the Australian Music scene and a healthy artillery of Drum and Bass releases on Australian label (Good Karma Music) from self taught productions, He welcomed huge inspiration from artists such as, PHCK, Bonobo, Rodriguez Jr and more, Jason decided to take a more downtempo chilled out world infused vibe under his new name (Jason Lunar) This movement has seen success in releases such as Kuro, and Forever In Mind on his own label (Lunar Project) Lunar has had multiple plays on BBC Introducing and his track Kuro was named track of the week.
