    My first love was all things played on guitar - from classical guitarist, John Williams to eclectic guitarist, John McLaughlin, and the unpredictability of Frank Zappa. I then became seduced by Schostakovitch’s 5th Symphony, Karen Carpenter’s Voice, Rage Against The Machine, Bring Me The Horizon, Jeff Buckley, Soft Machine and early psychedelia. Classification is always tricky. I hate being labelled a “rock guitarist” or pigeon-holed into “I write rock / pop songs”. I've been songwriting, playing and learning for a long time. I try and do more. I want to take the listener on a personal journey. Make the hairs on the back of their neck stand up...
