Jonathan Van Risseghem (VanRiss) is a singer-songwriter from Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2009, VanRiss independently released The Motions. The album received immediate acclaim with features in The Voice, Tosh.0, The Hills, and Samsung, Encore, and Kashi advertising.
In 2011, VanRiss released Passenger with featured track, The River, written for Brita Water's Filter for Good Canada advertisement. During this period VanRiss was invited to perform for the NCAA Honors Ceremony and tour Germany by platinum recording artist, Revolverheld.
VanRiss released Every Streetlight & Every Turn in 2015. Recording the tracks inside an abandoned grocery store, the songs focus on pop foundations arranged with warm and intimate soundscapes. Opening track, Good Times, was featured on the Feels Like Home compilation with Grammy winners A Great Big World and Ready Eyed was featured on season 12 of The Voice.
