Manwel Tabone has been into reggae since the mid-70s. He mixed his first dub tune in 2006. Influenced by dub pioneers like King Tubby and Lee Perry, and other dub masters like Scientist, Adrian Sherwood, Jah Shaka, Mad Professor, Alpha & Omega and Zion Train, he uses today's technology to create works that sound vintage and innovative at the same time! Artists that have been remixed by Manwel T include Alpha & Omega, Dubmatix, Urban Dub, General Smiley, Messian Dread, The Slackers, Zion Train, Coldcut, Public Enemy, Daddy Rings and John Brown's Body. In the summer of 2014 Manwel T started composing and producing his own tunes: reggae and ska instrumentals plus dubs, with prominent horns. 'Cosmic', the first full album featuring Manwel T as musician, composer, and producer, appeared in August 2015.
