Paula Punch is an indie/folk/rock/alt-country songwriter from Sydney Australia. She has been writing songs and playing live for years, but only started recording her songs recently with electric guitarist and producer (ex-'Girl Overboard' band)., who produced her first Album "Don't Look Down" in 2018. She has won awards in songwriting in Australia, toured California and Nashville with another songwriter, Jackie Bristow, and is currently recording her 2nd Album. Her early music career included session singing on other peoples Albums, eg Ed Kuepper, and on advertising commercials, eg Singapore Alrlines. Her voice range is wide - from sweet country (some say a "female John Denver") to empowering rock ( some say "Deborah Conway"). Her songs are quite melodic, and her lyrics have a direct and heartfelt authenticity.
