Fielded is the moniker of Lindsay Powell, a producer, songwriter & vocalist currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She is a sound/performance artist exploring and dissecting the pop archetype and narrative. inspired by those who seek liberation. self-trained electronic producer and self-styled Diva. Powell’s songs explore a wide emotional range often tied together by her cohesive and distinct production. Though Powell seems a natural in the studio it is her voice and lyrics that captivate us, both pleading for and boasting understanding with her fluency in the language of love. Two singles from Boy Angel, "Reign" & "City of the Dazed", were revealed to the world in early 2014. Powell has created a fashionably surreal and masterful statement that showcases the solo act in a new light of grandiose female pop. Powell refers to herself as having ‘pop alter egos’, one of which revealed two singles, “Takes a Freak” & “Never Again”, under the moniker Tapioca in March 2016. She is currently working on the new Fielded full-length on an island in Sweden.
