True Rhymes Uniquely Teaching Honesty (T.R.U.T.H.) Began rap'n for childhood friends. As he got older he became better and better and decided to take it seriously. He developed his style freestyling in cyphers at parties and in his spare time. T.R.U.T.H. became a recording artist at age 16. He was featured on a single "OOh and I Like It" with local Albuquerque latin hip hop band Cultura Fuerte. 2 years later he released his first demo simply titled T.r.u.t.h. Vol. 1 That same year he and a couple other fellow musicians formed a thrash metal punk rock jazz fusion band named Spontaneous Human Combustion. Soon after True Rhymes got involved with EDM events very closely learning how to and how not to throw successful events. T.R.U.T.H also became very involved with drugs at this time sending him into a downward spiral. He had put rap down for a while, but was asked to collaborate on a few tracks for another group that he had inspired to do music. He now battling to clean up his life, accepted and in no time joined the group and started pushing harder than ever. He pushed the group for a couple years ending with a bitter separation. But as they say "The show must go on". So T.R.U.T.H. decided to go solo once more. At this point True Rhymes had turned into a gypsy of sorts, but he was not just living out of his car or couch surfin anymore. Now he was really livin out on the streets takin the term "Starving Artist" to another level. He lived on the streets while still recording his 1st Official release "Therapy Session". This project is a personal piece of work describing the feelings he was having after he had split with his former band mates, troubles with past romances, and having his family try to admit him into a mental hospital the previous year. Thankfully he got out the streets found a job at a call center. His next project was a mixtape called "The Recycled of Life". It is compiled with originals and verses that his previous group erased from their songs. It is a roller coaster ride of lyricism, and funny skits depicting some of the wacky shit that he experienced during the phone calls he would get on a daily. T.R.U.T.H's most recent release is titled "Substance Abuse". It is an EP compiled of songs he wrote after his first independent tour. The project is a reflection of sorts. Asking has this RockStar lifestyle and all the partying become a problem. It is set in an Support Group Meet for those dealing with Substance Abuse. It is a short album but very in depth with content. The EP is produced by Jesh Booth (the producer that helped craft T.R.U.T.H's 1st EP Therapy Session). As well as close friend and former artist T.R.U.T.H worked with by the name of Andrew "MC Munny" Vega (who appeared on T.R.U.T.H's 1st demo). Andrew came up with the idea for the samples in the beats.. And this is just the tip of the Iceberg!!! T.R.U.T.H has much more up his sleeve. Cartoons, Films, The best Live act you have ever experienced!!!
