  • About

Chris McKay is an Athens, Georgia based singer / songwriter and is a founding member of The Everywhen. Over the years, Chris has won multiple ASCAP songwriter and performance awards for his own music. He has also collaborated on musical experiments with The Who’s Pete Townshend and co-wrote the song “Something Unseen” with Mike Garson (David Bowie’s pianist and longest tenured band member). During McKay’s time as a member of The Critical Darlings (who released two acclaimed indie albums), that band opened for acts as diverse as A Flock Of Seagulls, Cowboy Mouth, and King’s X. When McKay isn’t busy with his current band, The Everywhen, he can often be found in arenas and stadiums photographing the most successful entertainers in music as an internationally syndicated photographer for Getty Images. McKay’s photography is published regularly in Rolling Stone Magazine, Time Magazine, Vogue, People, USA Today, and virtually every major publication in the world. Chris has always performed as a member of the touring Beatles tribute act Abbey Road LIVE!
