Bio Growing up in the late 1980’s, the South Californian inner-city environment tested Harley King’s strength from the very start. At age 13, when the lights permanently left the single parent home he was raised in, he hit the street with an abandon for the future, soon Harley began selling drugs. He lived at the epicenter of the content rapped about in all the hip-hop he was hearing, and the impressions stuck. Making music became his main focal point. Soon enough, life struck again, but in a positive way, with the birth of his first child. Boss Yung pulled it together and made an effort to live a straight life. After the run of trials and tribulations, he found himself always falling back to the thing that kept him going for so long, making music. He put in the work, and within a year he was opening up for acts such as Sugafree, Ying Yang Twins, and Nina Sky. With the success of his first official album, "Hate on This" a collaborative effort, gaining the attention of many music critics he turned his attention once again to the fans. Within a years time recording over 30 songs and releasing the anticipated "West Resurrected" mixtape which featured hits from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Xzibit, Ice Cube, and other west coast rap staples. Boss Yung is now gearing up to take his message to a broader audience, creating tracks that have more mass appeal as well as spending more time performing live for audiences far and wide.
