Ed Jackson’s music is a fusion of heartfelt lyrics and upbeat melodies, that makes you think and smile at the same time. Ed’s lyrical playfulness and mix of light and dark sentiments make him a stand out as one to watch in 2020. His songs represent the range of human emotion from love to sadness revealing personal moments via homespun folk, pop, blues, americana, country & rock. Ed has been recognised as an accomplished songwriter whose tracks are as authentic as they are catchy. In 2017 Ed released his debut 6-track EP 'For A While' which was aired across the community radio network. In 2018, teaming up with collaborator JP Vernon, Ed followed up with three new singles 'Slowly', 'Smile a Little More' and 'Absent Angel'. 2019 sees the release of 'Windswept' which presents a balmy fusion of revelry and young-love and 'Let You Go' - a reflective ode to life-long love and loss and the country-inspired 'So Much More'. Originally from the NSW mid-north coast town of Taree, Ed Jackson now resides in Sydney’s inner west and plays regularly at local live music venues and festivals.
