About

I am a Kenyan songwriter who has been a deep lover and fan of music ever since I was a child, though I never actually honed my gifts and focused more on my academics. I recently began writing actively after I could no longer run away from the music bug and its been quite the journey. I started a small record label- Essen Music- in 2016 and the latest project is a Swahili song I wrote and co-produced called 'Usiku na Mchana' performed by my artiste Pryshon. My songs span various genres, ranging from Afro Pop to R'n'B. My biggest strengths are my ear for melody, versatility, and knack for different song concepts. I have melodies upon melodies constantly swirling round my soul and this is why I finally gave in to the musical call. I would be honored to utilize these strengths by working with various artistes, fellow songwriters and producers from across the world.
