Hi! I'm Wayne R. Guihot - coming to you from Albury, New South Wales. Primarily I am a vocalist and guitarist, but I am also proficient on mandolin, ukulele, and bass guitar. Mostly I perform covers, with a couple of originals thrown-in. I was born in the small apple-growing town of Batlow, New South Wales. An original boy from the bush, I was raised on a steady diet of country, folk, 60's/70's rock, and oldschool easy listening. When I picked up the guitar, at around twelve years old, it was only natural that these styles would form the basis and core of my own repertoire for years to come. I was a child of the 80's and a teenager of the 90's. With my upbringing, and my favourites from the 21st Century, I boast a very wide range of musical influences, spanning several decades and cultures. I have been playing guitar for 27 years, and I have 23 years' experience singing and songwriting. I have experience with live performance, busking, stage, and studio work, and weddings. I am also an experienced karaoke operator, MC, and DJ; and I am practiced in audio mixing, stage sound and lighting setup. I am available for solo performances, impromptu bands, weddings, parties and other celebrations, festivals and fetes, promotions, jam sessions, and more.
