  • About

East Lancashire based folk-popular acoustic artist Robinson learned his trade at an early age listening to and mimicking classic music pioneers such as James Taylor, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. Later it was Irish bard Damien Dempsey and England's own John Smith as well as the sublime songstresses Kate Rusby and Lisa Hannigan that proved to be major influences upon his own developing unique style. As his passion grew, Robinson tried his hand at writing his own songs. He found that his talents lay in social commentary and topical storytelling drawing inspiration from his own life and perspective on issues within his community.
