Wilson Getchell is best known as the front man for the band Thirsty Curses (2017-present). As YES! Weekly wrote, "Thirsty Curses make rock’n’roll, with a boisterous beer-swilling edge to it. Many of these songs are about living it up while things fall apart at the seams, or at least trying to find some glory in chaos and meaninglessness." Thirsty Curses has released four albums (To The Ends of the Earth, Thirsty Curses, All Shook Up, and Holy Moly), as well as about dozen music videos (youtube.com/c/thirstycurses). In 2021, the film Me Little Me licensed Thirsty Curses' song "War to Wage"; Me Little Me debuted at SXSW 2022. Thirsty Curses' song "I Can't Keep Up" has been licensed by several companies (including Cheerwine, Backwoods Guitar LLC, and Hartford Athletic) for use in advertisements on TikTok.
