Chris Smith is an accomplished singer-songwriter who also fronts the indie-pop project FITUMI. He is a former Army Intelligence Officer that now splits his time between Nashville and North Carolina. He is signed to a representation deal with Accidental Entertainment and has a worldwide distribution deal with Symphonic Distribution. Smith has been featured and playlisted on platforms like Songtradr, Spotify, Hype Machine, and Indie Obsessive, and has been recognized as an NSAI Best Of Tin Pan South and Anthem Songwriting Challenge finalist. His music has been used by brands like REI co-op, NBA, BFL, The Olympics, NBC, ABC, CBS, USA, MTV, and SONY. The FITUMI single “Power” has its own short film, “Power: Necessary Trouble, Necessary Noise,” and has been featured in various 2020 political campaigns. Additionally, Smith is the founder of Sing-Along Music Group, a music publishing and sync-licensing collective, and he serves on the admin team of the Make Pop Music community, as a business advisor for That Pitch, and as a North Carolina coordinator for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
