Aunt Nelly is a song writing traditional R&B/Soul band. Their sound firmly rooted in the tradition of the great 60Ts Soul/R&B bands, complete with Hammond Organ and Harmonica. A recent review of their music quoted “Perfect as a soundtrack for those long summer nights, if radio stations are brave enough to go with real music”. Recent air play on Mark Lamar’s Radio 2 show, a track on Hipster 2 compilation on ‘Acid Jazz Records’, and their self titled debut album on ‘Time For Action Records’ was released in May 2011. Their second album, 'Shades of Orange' was released in 2013 and the latest album, "Photograph" is due to be released in May 2016 on the 'Time for Action Records'.
