Born and raised in Harlem, New York, the Mecca of style and culture, David Pinks has developed into a renaissance artist. After a chance encounter with superstar Kanye West, at the age of 16, David worked on Kanye's first album "The College Dropout." Through that experience Kanye gave David mentorship and guidance to write, produce and perform at a world class level. Shortly after, David went on to work with several major artists.
