For the last two decades, Montreal born producer Mitch
Gírio has worked on over 150 albums.
Gírio’s career in production began while working with
his first band, King Apparatus, which led to his co-
producing four releases for Raw Energy/ A & M records. He
has recorded projects ranging from folk/roots to Jamaican
rocksteady from pop/punk to R&B to TV soundtrack music.
Along the way he has worked with Emma Lee,
José Contreras (By Divine Right), Tamara Williamson, Barzin, and Morgan Doctor.
Gírio has made many contributions as a composer on releases
by such artists as Kirsten Jones, Susan Cadogan, The
Kingpins, and Lo & The Magnetics.
