To some, Bitty is a singer-songwriter who crafts earworms that are heard on radio stations, stores and streaming playlists globally. To others, she’s a multi-instrumentalist Berklee scholar who slaps a funky bass.. Above all, she aims to do one thing: to make honest music. Music that speaks both to universal truths - like life, love and loss - and that speaks her personal truth. Formerly known as bittymacbeth, Bitty latest self-titled EP was warmly received by new and existing listeners of the R&B chanteuse on Spotify and Apple Music to the tune of 25,000 unique listeners. The EP was also picked up by music editors at NME, Now Entertainment (US) and Timeout. Bitty became the face of Spotify's Women of Singapore playlist from April - May 2021 and made it on to Spotify’s EQUAL playlist highlighting must-know Singaporean female artists. Bitty was invited by Esplanade to launch her EP has part of their iconic Mosaic Music Series, and sold out the show - twice. Nevermind Magazine said of the concert: ‘Bitty and her band elevate [the human condition's] existential impact to a gorgeous and deeply evocative threshold. Here, the sum total of expert musicianship finds a perfect balance with an urgently pounding human heart – and a sweetly striding human voice. Magic.’ Since the EP launch, the Boston Music Award R&B/Soul nominee has clinched an exclusive publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and a management deal with Yalla People.
