In 2016 ’Chase the Comet’ members, frontwoman Nika Comet and guitarist Alexander Mishustov booked a one way ticket from Moscow, Russia to Los Angeles, CA leaving behind a successful band in their home country to follow their dreams and ‘deliver their music to the whole world’. Staying loyal to their passion, they began the search to find perfect musicians to complete the new band. After a short search, ’Chase the Comet’ drummer, Elliott Samson, auditioned for the part and soon became an integral member of this power trio. Chase the Comet’s music is …(…alternative rock with a heartfelt message of hope)…. Many of the songs for this upcoming album titled ‘Rush’n’Rule’ were inspired by Alex and Nika’s immigration to the USA, overcoming difficulties and challenges. But there’s also a fair amount of songs that touch upon more personal issues that many people face nowadays: loneliness, addictions, indifference, obsession and fear. The new album 'Rush'N'Rule' is scheduled for release for February, 1, 2018.
