GOODBOYS formed in Malibu, California in 2016 with a joining of East and West coast. Born and raised on the Los Angeles music scene, Kevin and Suede Silver met Joseph Peliska when he moved to California for school from Florida. After working on each other’s separate projects for years, GOODBOYS formed when the trio realized that together they were musically more than the sum of their parts. Bringing together sounds that normally live in different worlds, GOODBOYS creates a junction between the lyrical sounds of The Police , guitar solos straight out of Led Zeppelin , all coupled with production influence from Southern trap and Harlem rap. With Kevin Graves’ punching lead vocals, Peliska’s driving guitar riffs and raps, and Suede Silver’s diverse multi-instrumentality, GOODBOYS curates a idiosyncratic musical style that incorporates vastly different yet cohesive sonic spaces.
