Nokomodo began life in 1999 when Leeds-based electronica musician and producer Aerron Perry started working with Edinburgh-based singer/songwriter Roisin O’Shea. In 2002 the album The 4th Player was released, crossing genres and provoking thoughts and emotions. The second life of Nokomodo began in 2017 and brings singer/songwriter Shayne Perry and bassist/guitarist Keith Durie into the fold. Nokomodo provide songs which blend clever beats and synths with powerful bass lines and lyrics that try to make sense of our journey through an ever-changing world of fake news, real tragedy and human endeavour.
