Guitarist Denis Taaffe,based in Bloomington, IN uses electric guitar and guitar loops done n the fly to create instrumental music that focuses on moods and atmospheres. Since his debut cd in 1999, Denis has completed and released 226 full length albums. All of his tracks are recorded and performed live in the studio with no overdubs. All of his tracks are improvised on the spot. Dens wrote an instructional guitar column for the national magazine musicians hotline (now known as Premier Guitar) for 6 years. Denis is a fan of Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd David Gilmore, the Police Andy Summers, Phillip Glass and others.
