BIO Born and raised in Maun, Northwest of Botswana right in the heart of Southern Africa, Onalethuso Mahudinga, “Is the Cross Empty” or the I.T.C.E as he calls himself, brings to light a new blend of piano and acoustic guitars with a little symphony of string section, that leaves audience captivated to his unique style of Contemporary Hip-Hop and R&B. Which he says is inspired by the likes of T.I, B.O.B, Casting Crowns and Matt Nathanson just to mention a few. His desire for music showed a long time ago he says, no one could move him away from the radio every Sunday morning listening to his favorite show on RB1Dipina le Maboko or (The Pins and The Bokes) as he refers to it, caught in thought of the golden years of his life. A desire that saw him grow to first perform in his junior years as a poet then joined the Church youth choir where he developed his voice and singing technique. Is the Cross Empty released his first Single titled AMEN on 2nd May 2018 and his Second titled Sorry Love on 10th March 2019 and his third Single Stand as One which was inspired by the COVID19 pandemic was released on 3rd April 2020. Is the Cross Empty said he is currently working on his new record which he confirmed will be his first album and he is optimistic due to the response he got from his audience on his trio releases!
