Matt Kurke is an American composer, arranger, singer and guitarist. While writing and performing all of his life Matt evolved from pumping gas to mailman to accountant to CFO—but the dream kept burning through and that is why he is here. Influenced by modern pop, classic rock, funk, jazz fusion and dance, Matt composes in a variety of genres to keep it interesting.
Performing in high school, college, and garage bands his whole life, Matt finally landed a paying gig with Tantrum Rox. After a few years his family and career were both growing leaving little room for gigs and rehearsals. He made the regretful phone call and sold some gear, but the embers remained red hot under the ashes. It’s time to stoke the fire.
