Martín Carrillo is an Argentine musician, singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist born in Mendoza on November 10, 1980. At the age of thirteen, he began his closest relationship with music after learning and entering the music of The Beatles. What would mark a before and after in your life. In this stage (from 13 to 16 years) begins to study guitar with various teachers, including his cousin Marina Carrillo who teaches him the first steps with the instrument. From the age of 17 he began his studies of music in a self-taught way. At the age of 19 he began to play in different groups until in 2001 he was invited to join Blackbird (Tribute Band to The Beatles), playing guitar and voice to the legendary British musician George Harrison. At age 23, along with Blackbird, I represent Argentina in the Beatle-WeeK of Liverpool England, after being winners of "The Beatle Week of Latin America", performing 9 shows including 3 in The Cavern (mythical scenario that was born the Fab Four). After this great experience, Martin begins to deepen his compositional work. Achieving years later to take to light "Laberintos and the Sun" (2008), its first solo disc, which integrates 11 songs of its own authorship with the production of Carlos Graña; being the song Refugio selected to integrate the promotional disc of the company Pop Art (2008). Labyrinths and the Sun was presented in the most important places of the province of Mendoza, among them the Independence Theater in 2009.
After this begins to develop what would be his second solo album, Planeta Fugaz (2012). This material, which is responsible for the production and execution of most of the instruments (Guitar, Bass Keyboards, Voice and Chorus), contains 10 songs of his own.
In 2013, he won the National Cultural Equality Prize among more than 6,000 participants from all over the country. And that same year is summoned to participate in the tribute to The Beatles realized in the Independence theater next to the participation of consecrated artists of the stature of Pedro Aznar, David Lebon and Daniela Herrero; and a large cast of local musicians.
In the year 2014 he is honored at the Fox Music USA Awards in the Solo Rock category, event held in Houston, Texas. This same year he toured Chile (Santiago and Valparaiso) and the interior of the country.
In the year 2015 he is summoned to participate with his band in the National Harvest Festival acting live for the whole country.
In 2016 comes out the Gray Zone, his third album. With the collaboration and participation of Leo Quiros and Pablo Orellano in Production. Zona Gris is edited by the company Warner Chappell, contains 12 songs of its own authorship. At the beginning of this year he toured Cuyo and Santiago de Chile together with Nea Agostini (Chile) and Soberanos are crazy.
This same year, part of the fans of the Dakar Rally asked Martin to make an unofficial song for this event. Martin composed Espiritu Dakar song that can be heard on the Web.
From 2017 he moves to Capital Federal (Argentina) to continue making live presentations.
