Australian composer Mark Dennett makes melodic yet ambient piano compositions under the name Keyinception. He loves to work with others to realise their creative potential and match music to their creative vision.
Brisbane resident Dennett first began making music at the piano whilst living in Sydney. Inspired by the likes of Yann Tiersen, Dustin O’Halloran and Nils Frahm, in 2019 he started studying music at the University of Canberra, where he worked on crafting his sound, uploading tracks to SoundCloud and performances to YouTube. Keen to collaborate, he's scored original music for games Space Evader, Sparklight and Bloc-K. He's also worked with several visual artists to produce a self-published art and score music book.
Inspired by the human condition and the landscapes of Australia’s shores and hinterland, Dennett’s style is continually evolving, mixing traditional song structure with more avant-garde/electronic ambient music production.
