lyrics Lasisi is a Nigerian Born but South African based musician As a musician who has been in the game for 16 years, Naija Boy has developed his own distinctive sound which mixes reggae, afro- soul,hip hop as and pop which makes him a well rounded artist He was heavily influenced and inspired as a young boy by Send Down the rain hitmaker Majek Fashek who he used to watch while sitting in a mango tree and listening to him and his band play sweet reggae tunes. Since then Lyrics Lasisi has opened for acts such as Ashanti, Shabba Ranks, Awilo Longomba, 2 face, Femi Kuti and Dmx. He's also travelled and performed in Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, South Africa, Virgin Ireland, UK and Dubai. His hot hit single Despirado ft Zimbabwean singer Deemelo and DRC's Thug Zillion got him crowned as Next Rated artist for 2015 in an award ceremony held in Mina, Niger State Nigeria by The Naija Millennium Africa awards and his project was sponsored by Made Of Divinity Clothing SA and Vecci Lifestyle wears SA in a project they tagged Southy Alhaji is an artist on the rise who despite his success, has never forgotten his roots.
