Lisa Fairey

About

Lisa Fairey, lifelong musician as primarily a cellist, turned singer and songwriter, fiddling a bit on the violin, guitar and ukulele, is always looking for ways to up-skill and contribute to the industry. As a recording artist, Lisa appreciates the creative aspect of mixing and producing her own music as well as collaborating with her music partner, Trevor Barker. She graduated with a Bachelor in Music Education from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and then with a Masters Degree in Cello Performance at The University of North Texas. She previously taught violin classes at a well-established private school in Manhattan, played in the United Nations Orchestra as well as countless other orchestras/bands/ensembles and currently continues to sing, play, write and record in her current home in Hong Kong. A one of a kind vocal sound combined with her solo or collaborative music gives her a rather unique and extra special sound.
