My name is Midas, I am a 24 year old rapper and writer from Kempton Park, Gauteng in South Africa. I live in a small suburb called Esther Park, I started writing music when I was 10 years old and now after 14 years of writing and 11 years of recording I am here to share what I have learned with you through my music. I'd like to define my craft as "Cinematic Rap" music, with each song and each project I aim to tell a story with the use of different jargon and thought provoking metaphors. In all my stories I want you to put on your earphones/headphones or plug in your speakers and be a part of the story, you may play any role you choose. I see myself as a rap star+a pop star+a rock star=Super Star.
