Jordan Paul is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kingston, Ontario. Jer–music journalist at Sleeping Bag Studios–describes Paul’s sound as, "if Queen, Mimicking Birds, Radiohead, and Led Zeppelin all had a beautiful love-child.” He has been hailed as "Canada's Jeff Buckley” by record producer Chris Birkett (Led Zeppelin, Quincy Jones, Buffy Sainte-Marie). Paul regularly co-writes with Matt Lipscombe (Bran Van 3000, The Replacements), Amanda Mabro (Ron Sexsmith), Chris Cargnello, Caracol, Keegan Powell (Spells of Vertigo, Chastity), Matin Kerr, and many other accomplished writers and artists. His first single, ‘Archetype X,’ debuted in the Top 100 Alternative charts on iTunes–gaining massive college radio play across North America. ‘Archetype X,’ was also awarded Songstudio’s ‘Most Pitch-able Song’ and the SHINE Music Award. In early 2017, Jordan Paul was chosen to represent Canada at the Texas Songwriters Symposium in Austin, TX. Paul’s music has been featured in The CW’s ‘The Secret Circle,’ Shaw TV’s ‘When Paintings Come Alive,’ LaJoie De Vie's short-film ‘Best Budz,’ and more.
