    Jeremiah Bornfield holds a masters degree in Music Composition from Hunter College, where he studied with Shafer Mahoney. Additionally, Jeremiah has written for diverse ensembles at Juilliard with Conrad Cummings in the evening division. He has written commissions and collaborated with the Grammy nominated St. Petersburg String Quartet, Nouveau Classical Project, Musical Bridges Around the World, Metropolis Opera, Duo Moderne, National Tsing Hua Orchestra, Gregg Smith Singers, CICA Festival Orchestra, Hunter College Opera and dozens of other classical soloists and chamber ensembles. In 2013 Jeremiah was invited to become a Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentee and participated in NYU’s BMI commercial programs, after which he founded Postsound Music Publishing, where he leads his company writing music for film and advertising, including the score for the feature documentary HItchcock/Truffaut (HBO/ARTE TV), and Louis XIII’s L’odyssey d’un Roi ad campaign featuring Martin Scorsese. His music for advertising has twice been nominated for the CLIO Awards. Jeremiah is composer-in-residence for the LGT Young Soloists, CICA Music Festival, and he is music director of Shop Studios in NYC where he currently resides.
