Composer, producer, and band director JARED CHANCE TAYLOR (b. 1993, NJ) draws inspiration from a vast repository of music's definition to create raw, potent, and meaningful art. From ads to narrative, Jared composes for a wide variety of mediums. He recently completed large bodies of orchestral work for Jaguar and China Global Television Network. Additionally, he has written branded content for Toyota, Xbox, Microsoft, Kroger, and Little Spoon. Since January 2017, Jared has scored 5 short films, 1 feature film, and 2 documentaries. His work has been showcased at a number of film festivals including the Los Angeles New Wave International Film Festival, Manifest Showcase, QFest NJ LGBT Film & Digital Media Festival, and Reel Stories Film Festival. Whether producing locally in Los Angeles or working closely with custom scoring houses based in locations such as London and Oslo, Jared enjoys collaborating with creatives around the world. Recent musical collaborators include Tim Myers (Zync, former OneRepublic), Eric Allaman (Legend, Battleship Potemkin), Nathan Wayne (former Ivory), and John Lowell Anderson. Currently, he is composing a newly commissioned musical, entitled Monotony, with writer Sarah Luery- a work expected to surface in late 2018.
