James Michael Stevens, a Whisperings Solo Piano Artist, is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN and well known for his original piano, instrumental, and choral compositions with more than 20 main stream companies and more than 8,000 publications and he is a voting member of the GRAMMYS. Stevens has a doctorate in music composition from the University of Kentucky and serves as the Dean of the School of Music at Welch College in Gallatin, TN. Recently, he has been writing compositions for film score with writers such as Shay Watson and Klaus Luchs and featured on shows such as The Young and the Restless on CBS, shows on The Discovery Channel, CBS Inside Edition, NBC News Tonight, writing organ pieces played by Harvard composer in residence, Carson Cooman, writing choral anthems for Shawnee Press/Hal Leonard as well as writing many compositions for piano solo and different instrumental and piano combinations. Most of Stevens' piano and solo instrument works can be found as sheet music at Sheet Music Plus and Sheet Music Direct while his music can be heard on streaming services around the world such as Spotify, Pandora Radio, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and others.
