MI MO is the virility of low frequencies flirting with the sensuality of a polychrome voice. Imiangaly, or MI with vocal and percussion, and Rolf Raza or MO on vocal and electric bass. MI MO is a vocals - bass guitar duo from Madagascar, having taken shape around 2011 and playing fifteen compositions in Malagasy, French and English and about thirty covers of all styles and all perspectives, as well. Their style of music ? First and predominant is the Malagasy color (6/8 rhythm) with a touch of funk, roots, jazz, world music, blues, and an important place for the scenic expression. Duo in life and on stage, simple, sincere, unpretentious, natural, MI MO is also the freedom, the joy of living, the pleasure of playing and sharing music.
