    Gideon Brown is a singer/songwriter and producer from Boston, Massachusetts. Gideon started taking piano lessons and writing songs at the age of 9 on a Wurlitzer upright piano given to the family by his grandparents. Due to his parents extensive record collection, Gideon discovered many great artists at a young age including Tom Waits, The Beatles, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, and many more. After high school Gideon attended Berklee College Of Music for a short time and soon after began playing the Boston circuit. He has played at some of Boston’s most iconic music venues including Club Passim, Red Room Cafe, The Lizard Lounge, Berklee Performance Center, and countless other locations across New England. After sending off a demo In 2014, Gideon was invited to LA by producer, and record label president, Jim Roach. While there he collaborated on a 5 song EP entitled “Gideon Brown.” The next year he release “Auld Lang Syne” as a Christmas single, which was featured on ABC’s website and is currently available for digital download. Since then Gideon has been writing and producing his debut album entitled “The Prodigal,” working with musician and engineer, Marc McElroy at Electric Cave studios in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. “The Prodigal” is set to be released on iTunes in October, 2019.
