Gastinel White has been described by many an artist clearly ahead of his time. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana a place where music is diverse and enriched with culture. A very wide range of music genres has naturally surrounded him from his childhood from Jazz to Classic Rock, R&B, Zydeco and Old School Funk. At age 7, after school daily, he began spinning on his uncle’s turntables and exploring what are now your classic vinyl records. This led him to deejaying family events and making mix tapes for friends and family members. Gastinel’s career did not officially start until while serving in the U. S. Marine Corp. He acquired his first set of turntables and began delving deeper into the art form of the DJ. His departure from the Marines in 1994 led him to Phoenix Az where Gastinel was immediately placed in the hottest clubs in Phoenix where he learned to actively program his playlist and the art form of rotating the dance floor. His bigger influences included realms and the likes of DJ Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jam Master Jay and DJ Craze. In 1995 he was signed to an Indie record label and began writing and producing his own music as well as learning the in and outs of a recording studio. He was then signed to a rock band “Buddah Stick” where he played keys along with lead and background vocals. This allowed him to have an appreciation for live music and performing as an artist and combining his skills as a DJ with a band. Looking for greater challenges and goals in the DJ business he then moved to Las Vegas in 2005. Las Vegas immediately opened doors and provided him the opportunity to DJ for celebrities such as Maroon 5, Train, IBM, Run (Joseph Simmons), DJ Kool Herc, Grandmaster Caz, Terry Fator, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Jay-Z, Wayne Newton, Lionel Richie, Sheldon Addelson, Britany Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull. He has also been a resident DJ for casinos such as the Golden Nugget, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, Flamingo, O’Sheas, Palazzo and Planet Hollywood Casino. His new goals and accomplishments will allow him to continue to offer his services to greater projects as they present themselves. He envisions himself in the future working and applying his skills as a successful international celebrity DJ and Music Producer & Musical Artist!
