    Galen Wallace Clark (23) is a songwriter, musician, producer, and audio engineer born in Riverside California from an Air Force family. Since age 10, Galen has been playing broad varieties of music in bands for over 15 years. Galen has played in bands such as Cellar (Winchester), Colin Phils (RVA), For Fear Itself (Baltimore), Club Sandwich (Baltimore), and The Apex Crew (Baltimore) to state a few. Recently after graduating Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA, Galen moved to Brooklyn, NYC and commercially released a 3 song electronic EP (entitled Amnesia) under the name of Wallace. From cafés in Copenhagen to bars in Brooklyn, Galen has played venues including Pete's Candy Store (NYC), Captains Bar (Edinburg), The International (Dublin), The Camel (RVA), Strange Matter (RVA, as well as Hardywood Brewery (RVA). Working as a Live Sound Engineer, Galen has been Front of House for the Bright Box Theater (Winchester), The Django (NYC), and currently engineers at Pearl Street Warehouse (DC). Through listening and working as a sound engineer alongside artists such as Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn, Booker T. Washington, Driftwood, and Cécile McLorin Salvant to state a few, Galen takes inspiration on the other side of the stage to a new direction. Galen's debut solo record, Providence released June of 2018 and is commercially available. ​For fans of Nick Drake, Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird, Hikes, Gregory Alan Isokov, Andy Shauf, Bahamas, M. Ward, Galen Clark brings a new perspective on contemporary songwriting steeped in experiences of hope, adventure, irony, nostalgia, and the beauty of life.
