About

Emma Cairo, a Scandinavian artist was born with music in her genes. Her father, a popular jazz musician in Denmark, blessed Cairo with a great ear, and a versatile, sultry voice. Emma sharpened her skills writing, singing, and performing in the Danish capital Copenhagen, before moving to Los Angeles, where she fell in love with the city and it's people. Emma's music is melodic & tongue-in-cheek indie folk/pop & rock with a twist of Nordic Noir. She is influenced by her upbringing in the dark north of Odin's city and by her current life in sunny California (and all the stereotypes that entails). Emma's debut album "In East and West" was released in March 2017 and the album features the ode to Los Angeles, "L.A."
