An International Awardee & President Scholarship holder Dishari Chakraborty was led to the world of fine arts through his sensitive instinct and finally, to the World of MUSIC,THEATRES & FILM. Being a child prodigy as a Santoor (SATATANTRI VEENA) Soloist, who is equally trained in western classical music. He is one and only repertoire with superlative command on Seni Maihar Dhrupad Gharana. At the age of five, his mother placed him under the guidance of LATE PROF.DHYANESH KHAN to learn santoor vadan in Senia Dhrupad style. At present, he is a disciple of USTAD AASHISH KHAN, grandson of legendary guru ACHARIYA BABA ALAUDDIN KHAN, simultaneously learning from MRS. AMEENA PERERA, daughter of legendary sarode maestro USTAD ALI AKBAR KHAN.
